I love the following quote from Elizabeth Barrett-Browning:
“Earth’s crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
But only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.”

I want to be the kind of woman that sees the work of God in the beauty all around me (especially here in the great Pacific Northwest). I sincerely want to be the kind of woman that truly recognizes that the beauty of nature is a gift from the God who created me. May I always strive to see the bigger picture, “take off my shoes” and humbly worship…not the created thing, but the CREATOR.

“The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made.” (Psalm 145:13)
