Make your breakfast look AND taste good with a bowl of Chocolate Banana Berry Oatmeal! Filling and delicious, you're gonna like it!
Measure old fashioned oats and milk into a medium saucepan. Bring mixture to a low boil, and then cook on low for 3-4 more minutes. When done, most of the liquid will have reduced.
Take pan off the heat. Immediately stir in cocoa powder, maple syrup (or honey) and almond butter (if using). Stir until fully incorporated (and almond butter has melted). If oatmeal becomes too thick for your taste, stir in a bit more milk.
Transfer chocolate oatmeal into a serving bowl. Garnish with thinly sliced bananas and strawberries. Serve, and enjoy!
NOTE: Caloric calculation was made using low-fat milk AND almond butter.
